engraving on the back: Champion Suisse LNA 1974 Bressoud
NOTES: We have seen this same engraving before on another 7016, it corresponds to the Swiss Water Polo Champions in 1974, Ligue Nationale A (LNA). Bressoud was the name of the owner.
The Tudor 'Snowflake' Submariner (non-date model; either 7016 or 9401/0) is characteristically unique versus its cousin: the Rolex 5513. With much of the same features and, of course, the same parent company. Both are icons in the vintage watch world and highly sought after by collectors around the world.
It is a first series Snowflake configuration on the 7016 reference. These very first serial number, coming just after the reference change from 7928 to 7016 with the change in movement 390 to ETA 2483.
