DIAL: Black glossy dial with gold gilt printing and copper tachymeter scale.
BRACELET: Beads of Rice bracelet (Private Eyes, Japan)
CONDITION REPORT: Excellent overall condition, the dial is in excellent condition and all original. The black glossy dial has small signs of matting, but is stunning. The case is in excellent condition and appears previously polished. All caseback numbers and engravings are clearly visible. The serial number matches the last digits found on the back of the lug.
NOTES: The first waterproof round pusher chronographs were offered by Omega & Tissot in the late 1930's. The first of these had high-pressure snap back cases (like this one) and the following series had screw back cases. These models were exceedingly rare and made in very small batches. Furthermore, black gilt dials, such as this one are among the most sought after from the period. They were made in such small batches that each configuration is almost unique.
