CASE: 40mm, stainless steel with black rotating bezel.
MOVEMENT: Caliber 1520, Self-winding mechanical movement with 17 jewels
BRACELET: Rolex stainless steel Oyster 'heavy fliplock' bracelet, Ref. 93150/580, Code L4
CONDITION REPORT: The watch is in overall great and stunning condition. The case is nicely refinished with crisp pinholes and retains its original bezel and insert. The dial tritium has stunning amber patina with some tiny spots and matches the hands. Overall a great looking example of rare MK1 Maxi 5513.
NOTES: The term Maxi applies to the larger sized lume plots on the dial of last matte series of 5513 from late 70's and early 80's. The MK1 were mostly made in 1978 and are the last Submariner to feature Submariner below the Depth rating. All subsequent models featured Submariner above the depth rating as of the MK2 Maxi dial.
