NOTES:

The model GMT Master II first appeared in 1984 with the reference 16760 and was the first GMT to be fitted with a sapphire crystal. This new model bore the Caliber 3085, which allowed the user to set the hour hand independently and is today the standard configuration as the GMT Master has been discontinued. The new caliber called for a thicker case and this earned the 16760 reference the nickname Fat Lady or Sophia Loren. The 16710 reference was introduced in 1988 with the slimmer caliber 3185.
