CONDITION REPORT: Mint condition and all original. The dial is pristine with both types of wood flawless. The hands are original with the tritium lume also remaining intact. The case and bracelet both appear lightly worn and maybe lightly polished. The watch movement is functioning properly.
The watch was fully overhauled at Rolex in 2018 and the battery was again replaced in 2021.
NOTES: This baguette diamond case and special dial are an exceedingly rare configuration and seldom seen on a Day Date such as this one. The watch also comes with a letter of provenance as the daughter of the original owner attests the story: In 1985, her father sold a piece of land to Rolex and the then CEO, Mr Heineger, offered this watch as a gift to him.
The watch also comes with the service records from Rolex in 2018 and a Rolex valuation certificate from 2019. All documents bear the correct reference for baguette diamond case 19058 and the matching serial number.
