CASE: 42mm Stainless Steel, lyre lug moonwatch case, acrylic crystal, black tachymeter 'DO90' bezel & screw case back with hippocampus logo

DIAL: Grey matte dial with red/orange accents and tritium hour markers. Racing hands with black base and white baton portion, orange chronograph function hands.

MOVEMENT: Caliber 861, hand wound mechanical chronograph, 17 jewels

BRACELET: Omega stainless steel 1039/516 bracelet dated 4.69

CONDITION REPORT: The dial is in excellent and original condition. The luminous material has aged with a nice cream patina and the hands are original with matching tritium as well. The dial racing hashes at the top of the dial are partially faint, but overall the colors all remain very bright. The case and bracelet both show wear consistent with the age of the watch and appear unpolished matching the overall crisp condition of the watch. There are some marks on the case sides, but these are not noticeable while on the wrist. The DO90 bezel is original and in excellent condition.

NOTES: According to the Omega Museum archives extract (with grey dial mention), the present watch was manufactured May 10, 1970 and delivered to Switzerland.
The Grey Racing dial is a rare exotic variant of the 145.022-69 this one is within a small batch in the serial serial range 24,609,xxx having been delivered to Switzerland. This particular example comes with its original moon box with Swiss retailer sticker underneath, hangtag and a blank paper printed in 1969. A wonderful collector example and set.
