NOTES:
In 1969, Omega introduced one of their most remarkable watches in terms of design: the Seamaster ST146.011. Although the Omega already had a few watches with extraordinary design, this Seamaster would prove to be an excellent example of what was to come - oversized cases, unusual shapes and wild colors. This chronograph case shape became known as 'Bullhead', due to the placement of the pushers at 12 - resembling the horns on a bull's head. This so-called ‘Bullhead’ style was originally developed for racecar drivers, who wanted easier activation of the chronograph and minimal pusher interference.
The ‘Bullhead’ has since become a vintage cult item, its rarity making it even more desirable. |
