NOTES: The present watch comes with the printed booklet archives extract from Audemars Piguet and it indicates the watch was sold on December 11, 1989.
These treasured Audemars Piguet perpetual calendars with ultra thin caliber movements, were produced in relatively small numbers. The reference 25661 was launched in 1985, (3 years after the 25657 with closed back) and produced until 1994, only around 244 examples of this reference were produced in yellow gold. Far less common than the 25657 yellow gold version that was produced in over 1,300 examples.
