Tudor Homeplate*** 7032/0 MK1*** 1970
TUDOR Chronograph Ref. 7032/0, Grey "Homeplate" Dial, Mark 1, 1970
Serial: 759941
Circa: 1970
Reference: 7032/0

DIAL: Grey dial, black registers, black outer ring with orange numerals and white minutes track. Applied Tudor logo with Tudor Oysterdate. Tritium luminous sword hands with orange chromo sweep seconds hand. Date window at 6 o'clock.

CASE: 40mm, stainless steel with tachymeter bezel and acrylic glass with loupe for date at 6 o’clock
Inner caseback dated II.70

MOVEMENT: Caliber 7734, hand-wound mechanical chronograph with 17 jewels

BRACELET: Oyster folded bracelet 7836/382

CONDITION REPORT: Overall excellent condition. The and hands are in mint condition. The bezel is also in pristine condition. The case is strong with intact pinholes, but may have been lightly polished once (difficult to be sure as very crisp).
Case back edge engraved 11-29-75, which is possibly the end of the one year warranty from the original time of sale in 1974 done by the retailer. It would indicate that although manufactured in 1970, it was only sold years later.
The bracelet dates to 1978 and may be a later addition.
Movement was fully overhauled (after photos) in May 2018.

NOTES: The MK1 7032/0 have 759xxx serial numbers (although some MK2 share the same numbers with 71 backs) and inner case back dated 70. In addition these are recognized by their first series "millerighe" pushers also found on Rolex Daytona from the same period. Finding this reference in such well preserved condition is very difficult and this is the finest example we have ever had in our hands.
