NOTES:
Patek Phillipe is known for its high quality, classic design and innovative technology having remained on its course of manufacturing high level mechanical complications and fine wristwatches even through the quartz crisis of the 1970-80’s.

This particular reference wristwatch 570 is especially sought after due to its rarity in that it is an atypically large diameter for this time period and that very few of these were manufactured in pink gold. It is impressive by its good condition, preserving the immaculate satin-finish and the sharp lines of the case, not showing any signs of over polishing.

The large Calatrava model reference 570 was introduced into the market in 1938, available with subsidiary or sweep center seconds in stainless steel, yellow, pink or white gold and platinum cases. The first series was fitted with cal. 12-120, the second as of 1950 with cal. 12-400 and the third, launched in 1960, with cal. 27 AM 400.
